This week: during Autumn 2023 Donald paid several visits to the EKWC ceramics centre in the Netherlands, interviewing a variety of the people there. In part two he talks to some of the artists in residence including Berlin based Caro Suer Kemper, Jonat Deelstra from Amsterdam and Madeleine Child, Dunedin. EKWC is an international artist-in-residence and centre-of-excellence for ceramics. For over 50 years, artists, designers and architects from all over the world have worked here to experiment with clay. The experiments result in both special works of art and technical innovations.

The piece is an an art machine which used AI to provide a visual representation of medical data garnered from patients, examine their health care journey with AI and explore their concerns around trust in AI.
