Modulisme
Modulisme (which translates as Modularism) is a series devoted to out of leftfield modular synthesis. This week: we offer a blurred soundtrack of the cult experimental horror film, Dementia by John Parker. Contrary to the usual exercise in music to picture, which consists of composing a soundtrack that follows the course of the film, here the soundtrack must arouse the emotion of the spectator-listener without seeking to reinforce the effect of the visual scene - it is not a question of musical synchronisation. For more information visit modulisme.info/sessions. [Repeats Sunday 5am.]
