New Works For Radio: Rochus Aust's Storm Orchestra

Rochus Aust presents his Deutsches Stromorchester which develops a classical symphony orchestra into electronics, transmitted live from multiple rooftops surrounding Halle's Marktplatz, as part of Radio Revolten's opening night, 1 October 2016. The performance features a combination of Aust's classical mechanical hybrid instruments purveying sounds ranging from the monotonous to the violent and from the delicate to the disturbing.
