Presented by Nick Brown and the Intoxica Records Radio Hour Choir, direct descendants of the Intoxica Records Shop. The show is dedicated to the dignity of vinyl, spotlighting Content Themes, specific artists' careers and generally playing the gloriously unheralded beat, soul and honkers of the 20th Century, all rendered on little slabs of black plastic. Out To Lunch on piano and acoustic guitar, Andrew King from Spoort on electric guitar, and Robert "Sugarlips" Goldsmith on baritone and sopranino saxophones. Plus "Nostalgia Postponed", music from the session "peeled off" and combined xerochronically with drums played by Peter Baxter in Goring-by-Sea. This month: equally at ease crafting menacing club tracks, building celestial soundscapes and producing for other artists, Sébastien Forrester has a recurring obsession with traditional and idiosyncratic sounds. His first encounter with music as a child was hearing the Bwiti ritual drums while living in Gabon, Central Africa, with his family in the early 2000s.
