[Repeated from Thursday 8pm.] Villa Lontana Records presents a recording by the label's debut artist, Andrés Saenz de Sicilia, pieced together from two separate live performances. The first marks the release of his solo LP 21-9-18 and is a recording of his live at Flat Time House on 27 November 2019 using a multi channel sound system across the space. The second, in collaboration with Walter Maioli, renowned musician, paleo-organist and experimental archaeologist, is an extract from a performance on 19 September 2019 at Residency 80121 in Naples. All sounds used in this performance were developed by utilising recordings of Maioli’s ancient and ethnographic collection of instruments, which include shells, stones, flutes, drums, bells, scrapers and leaves and performed live using a multi-channel sound system installation of 10 speakers across the space. Villa Lontana is an independent art project based in Rome curated by Jo Melvin and Vittoria Bonifati in collaboration with the Fondazione Dino ed Ernesta Santarelli.
